Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand), you have certain rights and guarantees when purchasing goods. Our products come with guarantees that they are:

  • Of acceptable quality (fit for purpose, safe, durable)
  • Match their description
  • Fit for any particular purpose you made known to us

If goods don't meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. These rights cannot be excluded or limited.

Returns and Exchanges

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely happy with your order, you may return it within 14 days of receipt for a refund or exchange, provided the item is in its original condition.

Return Conditions

Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and with all tags and packaging attached. Custom-made items and personalised products cannot be returned unless there is a defect, error on our part, or they don't meet the Consumer Guarantees Act requirements.

Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact us at office@quiztornrrshol.world or call +64 6364 5567 within 14 days of receiving your order. We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorisation number. Please include this number with your return.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item and verify its condition, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, if goods are faulty, you are entitled to a full refund including delivery costs.

Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless:

  • The item is defective or doesn't meet Consumer Guarantees Act requirements
  • We made an error (wrong item, damaged in transit)
  • The item doesn't match its description

Original shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns but will be refunded if goods are faulty under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, we will arrange for a repair, replacement, or full refund (including return shipping costs) at your choice, provided the issue is not due to normal wear and tear or misuse.

Warranty Period

Our products are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. The length of coverage depends on the nature of the product and how long a reasonable consumer would expect it to last. For fabric bags, this typically covers manufacturing defects for a reasonable period from purchase.
